Hi! I'm Britt Ritchie,
a doctorate-prepared psychiatric nurse practitioner based in Denver, Colorado.
I specialize in boutique female psychiatry because I know what it’s like to look successful on the outside while silently struggling on the inside. For years I battled anxiety, ADHD, and never feeling “enough.” It wasn’t until I discovered a holistic, integrative approach that I began to feel confident and fulfilled. That experience inspired the way I practice today.
Areas of Focus

ADHD
Do you:
-
Struggle to focus or follow through, even though you're constantly trying?
-
Feel disorganized, distracted, and mentally exhausted?
-
Wonder if ADHD might explain why everything feels harder than it should?
I can provide support so you can:
-
Remember your child’s soccer game without relying on sticky notes and alarms.
-
Read through an email once — and actually retain it — instead of re-reading five times.
-
Follow through on paying bills or responding to texts without forgetting or feeling flaky.

Anxiety
Do you:
-
Live in your head, always analyzing, overthinking, or second-guessing?
-
Dread social situations or feel like you’re never doing “enough”?
-
Experience sleep issues, tension, or racing thoughts you can’t shut off?
Imagine yourself finally able to:
-
Have a peaceful home life where you can be present, supportive, and connected without pressure for perfection.
-
Enjoy a date night or social outing without overthinking every word you said.
-
Be able to relax on the couch without guilt or a racing to-do list in your head.

Depression
Do you:
-
Feel disconnected, unmotivated, or emotionally flat—even when life “looks good”?
-
Struggle to feel joy or energy, and wonder why?
-
Say “I’m fine” but know you’re just going through the motions?
I'm here to help you reclaim the ability to:
-
Be emotionally present with your partner and children, enjoying quality time without distraction.
-
Take in your work or home life with pride instead of constant dissatisfaction
-
Have the energy to cook a meal instead of defaulting to take-out every night.

Burnout
Do you...
-
Feel exhausted but wired, overwhelmed but unable to stop?
-
Miss the version of yourself that had energy, joy, and motivation?
-
Push through every day on fumes, wondering how long you can keep going?
I support ambitious women like you to:
-
Have the clarity and courage to pivot careers without fear of losing your identity.
-
Come home from work and still have energy to play with your kids.
-
Discover who you are outside of work and feel confident in your worth without needing titles or achievements.

Female Psychiatry for the Silent Struggles
Ambitious Women Carry
From the outside, everything looks good… career, family, home; all the boxes checked. It looks like you have it all. But inside, it doesn’t feel that way. You may feel disconnected from yourself and your family, restless, drained, or strangely unfulfilled, like you’re just going through the motions. You tell yourself you should be happy, but you’re not—and the guilt of that only makes you feel worse. It’s confusing, because nothing is “wrong” on paper, yet something still feels off.
Maybe you’re exhausted, constantly worrying, and even when you’re home you can’t relax. Your brain won’t slow down when you need rest, yet it feels sluggish and distracted when you need clarity. You forget small things, overthink most things, and put in triple the effort behind the scenes, just to show up like you’ve got it under control. You’ve tried to push through, but no matter how much you accomplish, it never feels like enough. You’re overwhelmed, running on empty, and questioning who you even are beyond the titles, responsibilities, and expectations.
Life shouldn’t feel like you’re running on fumes or ticking boxes on autopilot.
You deserve to feel fulfilled, focused, and content in the life you’ve worked so hard to build.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you only work with women?
No. I specialize in ambitious women's mental health in Denver and Colorado because I understand the unique pressures they face. That said, my integrative, root-cause approach is effective for anyone seeking thoughtful, holistic psychiatric care. I also welcome men who are looking for a more personalized alternative to traditional psychiatry.
Why is female psychiatry different?
Women often experience unique biological shifts—like hormonal changes during the menstrual cycle, pregnancy, postpartum, and perimenopause—that directly affect mood, focus, and energy. On top of that, women are more likely to carry the “invisible load” of family, career, and social expectations. These combined factors can make anxiety, ADHD, depression, and burnout show up differently than they do in men.
What age groups do you work with?
For my integrative psychiatric services, I work with adults ages 18–64 throughout Denver and Colorado. I also provide ADHD evaluations for younger clients through specific testing packages: Package A is available for ages 15–60, and Package B is available for ages 12–60. This ensures teens and adults alike can access objective, evidence-based psychiatric testing without months-long waitlists.
What is integrative psychiatry?
Integrative psychiatry combines traditional psychiatric care—like medication and therapy—with root-cause approaches such as functional lab testing, supplements, nutrition, and lifestyle strategies. At Mind Alchemy Mental Health in Denver, I use integrative psychiatry to uncover what’s really driving symptoms like anxiety, ADHD, depression, or burnout, and create a treatment plan that supports your whole self—mind, body, and biology.
What makes boutique psychiatry different?
Boutique psychiatry is a high-touch, personalized model of care that goes beyond the rushed, one-size-fits-all approach many people experience. Instead of quick medication checks, boutique psychiatry offers longer sessions, deeper evaluations, and direct access to your provider. My boutique female psychiatry practice in Denver is intentionally small so I can give each client the time, attention, and customized support they deserve.
What does holistic psychiatry mean?
Holistic psychiatry looks at mental health through the lens of your entire life—mind, body, and environment—not just symptoms. It may include genetic or functional lab testing, nutrition, movement, supplements, mindfulness, and therapy, alongside medication when appropriate. My holistic female psychiatry services in Denver and across Colorado are designed to help ambitious women address the root causes of burnout, anxiety, ADHD, and depression, and reconnect with lasting clarity and balance.
