Frequently Asked Questions
What women’s mental health topics do you focus on?
I specialize in psychiatry for ambitious, high-achieving women in Denver and across Colorado because I understand the unique pressures they face, like burnout, perfectionism, and the constant drive to “hold it all together.” That said, my integrative, root-cause approach is effective for anyone seeking thoughtful, holistic mental health treatment. I also welcome men who are looking for a more personalized alternative to traditional psychiatry.
What publications have you contributed to?
My publications reflect my commitment to evidence-based women’s mental health care, ADHD support, integrative psychiatry, and practical tools that help patients feel more calm, focused, and emotionally steady.
I’ve authored and contributed to peer-reviewed psychiatric publications designed for both clinicians and patients. Most recently, I wrote the section on delirium and neurocognitive disorders in the textbook Clinical Consult to Psychiatric Mental Health Management for Nurse Practitioners (3rd ed., Springer Publishing). I also published my doctoral project in the journal Issues in Mental Health Nursing, where I evaluated mindfulness practices for adults with ADHD during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Are your publications peer-reviewed?
Yes. Both my textbook contribution and my journal article were peer-reviewed by experts in the field, which means they meet the highest standards for clinical accuracy and evidence-based practice. Sharing this research is part of my commitment to bringing trusted, science-backed psychiatry to Denver and Colorado patients seeking holistic and integrative mental health care.
How does your research support your women’s mental health practice in Denver?
My research and publications inform the work I do every day. Writing about neurocognitive disorders, delirium, and ADHD has deepened my ability to connect academic knowledge with clinical care. In my boutique holistic psychiatry practice in Denver, I translate that science into real-world strategies—whether that’s ADHD evaluation, anxiety treatment, depression care, or burnout recovery—so clients benefit from both cutting-edge evidence and personalized holistic mental health treatment.
